I have no idea whether Bill Clinton really said that Obama will have to "kiss his ass" in order to get his support. But I am curious as to exactly where this dude thinks his leverage is coming from. Last time I checked, two in ten Dems and four in ten independents said that Bill Clinton would be a problem if Hillary were the VP. More to the point, exactly what country does Bill represent? Obama is beating McCain among women. He's beating McCain among Hispanics. He's even beating doing well among working class whites. So who exactly is Bill Clinton supposed to be wooing for Obama? Am I missing something here? Did Obama actually lose the primary?

The Beautiful Struggle: A Father, Two Sons, and an Unlikely Road to Manhood
Who exactly? You're kidding, right? He's the linchpin in the "get whitey to swallow that black pill" campaign. All sorts of white poeple that voted for Obama in the primary and those that *say* they'll vote for him in the general are just looking for an excuse, any excuse, to stay the course with McCain.
Bill Clinton continues to display his depthless self-pity and sense of entitlement. When Bill messed around with an intern and lied about it, it was all a vast right-wing conspiracy. Now African Americans take issue with Bill's repeated, racially tinged comments and it's Obama's fault. Will this guy ever accept responsibility for anything he does or says?
What's really eating Bill is that Barrack is going to win this fall - with or without his support - and the Clintons will no longer be the major power brokers in the Democratic party. For a narcissist like Bill this has to be like a form of death.
Until Obama has won two terms as president, he'd better stay on Bill Clinton's good side. Here are three reasons Obama needs Bill: (1) Bill is plugged into a lot of donors that Obama would like to have support him. (2) Bill can help sway voters who like him (Bill) but are not currently supporting Obama. (3) Withdrawal of support by Bill would affect Obama's existing support. Which isn't to say I believe the third-hand unattributed quote in the first place.
I honestly try to listen to John McCain and I simply cannot. He looks as though he is seriously ill. His coloring appears enemic. Maybe he should dye his hair and eyebrows.
It looks like the Republicans could have selected a presentable candidate like Mitt Romney, young , aspiring, a willing smile, stage presence.
I don't think John McCain is going to win. I look at Cindy as a potential first lady and all I see is a woman who committed adultery with John McCain when he married. Maybe she should dye her hair? These two are pitiful ...where have the eloquent Jackie Kennedys gone?
