Swimming is pretty good. Anyway, it's time for another music thread. What are we listening to folks?

The Beautiful Struggle: A Father, Two Sons, and an Unlikely Road to Manhood
Sigur Rós - Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust
Great album
Bobby Bare Jr.'s Young Criminals Starvation League. Don't know which EP I just got.
Girl Talk-Feed the Animals
Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings
Love the French Kicks. Their old stuff, especially ... "Trial of The Century" and "Young Lawyer" are both really good albums.
Right now I'm obsessed with the Brits. Duffy's "Rockferry" and Estelle's "Shine."
And if you can get your hands on a copy of "Dennehey" by this Chi alt-rapper named Serengeti, you won't regret it. Oh, and if you're into the really good, but unfortunately named 'hipster rap,' I recommend Kidz in the Hall's "The In Crowd."
But lemme stop, lol. I could go on all day.
The new James McMurtry, 'Just Us Kids.'
Priscilla Ahn's, "Good Day," and Brooke Waggoners, "Fresh Pair of Eyes EP"
Definitely second to Sigur Rós and Girl Talk; also, have been really getting back into last year's Bloc Party album, A Weekend in the City. Esp. the second half of the album - "Kreuzberg," "I Still Remember" and "SRXT."
After "This American Life" (that show is an addiction), Up Dharma Down and Blue Scholars.
Silversun Pickups

Brad Mehldau's new double CD -- killin'.
This is random, but just started listening to the Go! Team – sounds like a Beastie Boys score of an episode of Scooby-Doo. Very weird, but very fun.
Carla Bruni's "Quelqu'un ma dit" - corny but soothing.
"it's time for another music thread"
You mos def made my hideously boring day at the office.
I'm currently re-listening to Little Brother's album "Get Back", which I highly recommend if you haven't heard it. Oh, and I just finished a rather embarrassing (mad people looking at me stank/weird/amused) 2 week long 90s music bender. "My Boo" by Ghost Town DJ's anyone? Maybe a little "Return of the Mack" by Mack Morrison? *sigh* Oh middle school....
Luke Doucet is the man on the pod right now.
The killer lyric?
"It takes a uniquely fucked up man to break his own heart."
Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings
all of them......
Nas' new album, "Untitled." That and "Illmatic." I like to bookend...
amadou and mariam-- everything, everything. ariano and castor pollux. julieta venegas. ivri lider (like carla bruni, corny but sweet). aviv geffen.
calogero and passi- face a la mer. akhenaton, sometimes (a vouloir toucher dieu). a multiperson track "contre les lois racistes" w/ akhenaton and passi and whoever else. mush ben ari, sometimes (really upbeat, great sounding reggaish, some middle eastern sounds). evyatar banai (deep, a pop person become religious family man, really deep about god and life).
