For me, Stankonia was the album that made me look at hip-hop again. It's probably one of my favorite 10 albums because of that.

Growing up in Houston, it was always (A) South Park Mexican, (B) songs about lean, (C) inane conversations about Tupac vs Biggie. None of it really resonated with me.

I think you're probably thinking of a set of dragon curves. They're made of those little curlicues like that and you can tile them together to make shapes similar to that.

Makes me proud to be Southern. In sixth grade, all we had was gangsta east and west (snoop/dre/pac v. big), then out of nowhere Southerplayerlistic Cadillac Funky Music dropped. We shit ourselves. ATLiens crushed, and that was it, I was hooked.
