Damnit, TNC, I was going to comment in the other thread that I read your blog merely because I like feeling guilty.
But I was at work, and I couldn't...I would have felt guilty.

Every one of those things applies to me too, plus I live in our host's hometown, just a couple miles from his old neighborhood.
