What are we seeing folks? I'm watching the Bears and Falcons while doing some writing. Kyle Orton is trying to pull an Elway, after Jason Elam skanked the game-winning FG.

UPDATE: Oh shit. Chicago just scored. Kyle Orton comes through.

UPDATE#2: WTF! Elam has another shot. How did they leave Jenkins that open??

Oh poor long suffering Chicago...

Ugh. The Bears depleted secondary comes back to kill them. Bummer.

But I have to ask, who is this guy they have in there with the name "Orton" on his jersey? I thought Orton was the guy who got called for grounding because he couldn't throw far enough, or the guy who did nothing but hand off and hope the defense would score.

Also, Hester is becoming more and more of a threat at WR. This team can go places if they can get Tillman and Vasher back. Here's to three home games in a row + a bye week to help solidify the attack.

arrington taking it back. booomshakalacka!

Why, oh why as a 7 year-old did I pick the Raiders as my team?

I don't think any one in Atlanta is missing Michael Vick much these days.

This ATLien loves Matt Ryan.

What the hell is wrong with the Redskins?

I have no frigging clue, blackink. This was not the same team as played Dallas and Philly. Ugh.

Hit of the day: With one head-on blow, Nate Webster knocks the ball from Fred Taylor's grip and Fred Taylor from the game. Finally, the Denver D looks like they want to play some football.

Damn, the Saints looked good today. So good that I took a lovely third-quarter nap.

Ofay McCrackerson

you shank a field goal, you don't skank it.

WTF is going on with Dallas?

I'm stunned. Absolutely stunned. Why the hell didn't Lovie Smith kick deep at the end? He kicks it short, gives the Falcons better field position AND more time to make a field goal....terrible. Just terrible.

T-NC you know the 'boys were in for one of these games sooner or later.

Heh, Charles Woodson just picked off Charlie Frye. Instead of high-fiving, Woodson gave business-like handshakes to his fellow defenders.

and AZ takes the lead. ruh-ro raggie!

The Rams win!! In a related story, Scott Linehan is currently on suicide watch.

I don't care what happens. Demarcus Ware is a beast.

No way they give them these five yards. Does Folk have it in him?

Wow. It looks like the extra five yards did it.

DOWN GOES FRAZIER! DOWN GOES FRAZIER!

So effing sloppy. Man, I saw this coming under Wade...

Uh, wow. That is gonna leave a bad taste in Dallas' mouthes

Don't think The Whiz will be icing the kicker again any time soon!

I'm so tired of coaches pulling this stunt, it just tacks time onto the end of the game. I just wish when Shanahan had tried it a couple of years ago it would have backfired so we wouldn't see coaches use it every time. It's one thing to call a time out to ice the kicker, it's another thing to time it so the play is run and called back.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a punt so harshly blocked. I'm surprised the punter isn't hurt from having his leg stopped so suddenly.

Just another game like so many others in Bears history ...

Glad I was at the Fire match, at least they got a draw.

Our kind of town. Hrumph

Weird fucking fact... Every single New York Times/Sports Network prediction for the Bears this season has been wrong. Every predicted loss has been a win, and every win, a loss.

If we can just get them to predict consistent Bears losses, maybe we have a chance... ;)

Romo broke his finger in OT and is out for four freaking weeks. Maybe he'll come back with a game face.
