Totally got me.

I know I have no class, but if she were born in 1922, then she only lived through one World War.

I know that we are all going to have more important fish to fry over the next eight years but if any of ya'll DC media/ inside politics types gets a chance be sure to ask Cokie Roberts if she still thinks Obama should have vacationed in SC instead of HA this past summer.

How about Korea? How about proxy wars? How about global struggles for civil rights? How could you forget Gulf I or GWOT Infiniti?

Lord, lord, lord... I hope he will get some time after the election to really sit down and grieve. An almost unfathomable rollercoaster to achieve the pinnacle of his profession and lose his last living caretaker 24 HOURS BEFORE the election. 'Bittersweet' doesn't really describe it adequately. What a denoument on the campaign...

@ Keith - I'll follow you off topic: btw 1998 and 2003, the Congolese war involved proxy forces from Sudan, Libya, Angola, Namibia, Chad and Zimbabwe fighting against Rawanda and Burundi forces and also fighting against Ugandan forces. Including Dem Rep Congo, it was like ten countries and 3.8 mil casualties; most since WWII. How cheerful! Confined to one continent or not, IMHO that's a WW...
