The Beautiful Struggle: A Father, Two Sons, and an Unlikely Road to Manhood
If by not end well, you mean he'll make enough money to qualify for Obama's tax increase, sure.
Bill Cosby might be right about Bart Simpson's people.
As a Canadian i want to say "Bravo" to Monsieur Joe Le Plombier. He is taking advantage of his fame, it will not last long, but hucksterism and the entrepreneurship spirit still exist in American!
That guy just doesn't want to go back to fixing toilets. Too bad. You never can find a good plumber when you need one.
We wish our new president blessings of wisdom and good judgment, and we pray he hearkens to our voice if ever we feel our American Dream is being threatened. It will be a loud voice, so good luck trying to ignore it.
From disillusioned to delusional.
I dunno, he's already on minute 27 at least. Though I'm not sure anyone who confuses "blog" and "newsletter" is ready for the heady world of interconnected tubes.
I see rehab in his future.
Funny Tinare....i see welfare...which is all in all alright...i mean, he did put money into the system...didn't he??
All in all, I wish Joe the Culture-Warrior all the best in the future...hopefully he makes so much money that he actually is moved to the 250-k taxbracket, and finally becomes the person we all were supposed to believe...
Hey - he's gotta cash in when he can, right? Might be worth at least 100K to him, if not half a mil.
When life hands you un-looked (and undeserved)for fame, you'd be stupid not try to make the most of it!
He "wrote" a "book" in less than a month and he is a country and western talent to boot! Clearly this guy is a prodigy.
We should not be too critical of him because after all, he did not volunteer for the limelight. He was only asked and answered "ABSOLUTELY!"
I totally see "The Surreal Life" in this guys future.

You know I was just thinking that just before I read this comment! Or maybe "Celebrity Survivor" or "Dancing with the Stars"? (That last one would only come after he's logged a few months as a commentator on FOX News. Y'all know THAT'S coming!)
First two comments on the board. Awesome.
1. Oh, yeah, I will be lining up for that great piece of literature. Not.
2. It will be a piece of something, but not literature
He should try to get ahead the old fashioned way and apply to Princeton.
Hey, does anyone here have any tips on which fancy white school I should send my girls to in D.C.?
I dunno, if "ending well" means "fucking hilarious," I bet it might end well.
Why do I get the feeling that Joe the Plumber's book will end at Chapter XI?
Coming soon to a bookstore near you: the latest political hit: Joe the Remainder
joe the jive jerk will be a trivial pursuit question in a year. c'mon tnc, i'll bet you $10 that jtjj will be 'huh? oh the dood. what ever happened to him, anywho?' on January 1, 2010.
put up, tnc. you know where to find me...
As I've said before, I want Joe and Sarah Palin to hook up, and I want them to get heavily into meth, and I want them to show up on "Cops" with lots of missing teeth.
I don't think I'm asking for too much.
In terms of fame, this is definitely his extended 15 minutes.
Yeah, he wrote a book within a month's time that's actually worth reading. The website? No comment.
This is going to be hilarious.
I will pay $15 to troll the hell out of them. Mark my words.
"I will pay $15 to troll the hell out of them. Mark my words."
Lefties crack me up. I'm sure J-T-P would love it if a hundred thousand of you paid $15 to 'troll the hell out' of him.
Some study indicated a schmoe who becomes a major newsmaker remains of at least marginal interest for 15 months. That's probably not much comfort as if true it means he'll still be mentioned somewhere throughout 2009. Still if true it means we'll likely never hear of him again after January 2010.
Joe the Plumber is a thuggish, obnoxious, knuckle dragging neanderthal

I take it you've never read SA.
This will not end well.
Dude, it didn't even *start* well.
