So great! Ishida started cartooning here at UC Irvine some years back and I love that he's built up his fame over the years. (And I speak as a Schulz freak too -- great use of the original.)
For some reason, I thought it would be this Sinfest that would draw comment
@Brian: Agreed - both strips rock.
Funny, except I still view Charlie Brown as a lovable loser. There's nothing lovable about George Bush, Jr. He's an asshole.
pretty funny, especially the name change. Ironically, Schulz broke taboos when he introduced Franklin to Peanuts in 1968 - in fact, he got hate mail when he drew some strips that (gasp!) had Franklin in the same classrooom as Charlie Brown.
Quite a shock to see a webcomic I stopped following years ago to be linked here! If only I had more time to read all the things that deserve to be read.
