You too can live like Salvatore Ferragamo

21 Nov 2008 06:21 pm

So there's no way to say this with modesty, so I'll just say it--I set up Facebook fan page. Please be a fan of mine. I'm a fan of yours. Mostly.

T-N (is that okay?! I didn't realize you had a blog on Atlantic. Big fan of your work so please forgive for the lateness of knowing that you had a blog on Atlantic.

That Stanley Crouch piece was great man.

Keep up the good work!

TNC has officially jumped the shark.

TNC conventions can't be far behind.

I told you it would blow up.

I'm pretty tech savvy for a middle-aged white lady who eats cucumber sandwiches, but -- it's going to take me a while to catch on with Facebook. But I want you to have good numbers, T-NC.

Oh, and bad news: Salvatore Ferragamo lives in that great shoe store in the sky, since 1960.

Done! I feel strangely groupie-like.

Jumped the shark? Dude....that phrase has officially nuked the fridge.

PS. Can you simultaneously be anti-Herb and a fan of Herb?

TNC might blow up, but he won't go pop.

This is actually a good idea, TN. I'd sign up for an Andrew and Ross facebook fanpage too if they'd do it (though I don't see that happening for, well...forever). I'm not gonna get Cowboys fanmail as part of the package, am I?

It's called changing with the times and appreciating the technology....although I do feel like a "groupie" since I'm a white suburban working woman who loves her daily dose of TNC, Andrew and Fallows. :)
Welcome to Facebook! I love the profile picture.

Folks, TNC won't ever Nuke the Fridge...he's too retro-cool to become that mess.

That's great! Any chance you can convince James Fallows to get one too?
