The Beautiful Struggle: A Father, Two Sons, and an Unlikely Road to Manhood
I guess he really is good enough and smart enough. And, doggone it, people really like him.
Yeah, I saw it this morning in the Strib, I got kinda excited but we'll see. It seems like there is still alot of legal wrangling to go.

I guess we might get the Al Franken decade, after all.
But he has to do it without the Lizard People's vote. :(
Too early to tell yet. The number of contested ballots in the recount is much smaller than the number of initially contested ballots that were then withdrawn. The latter group has not yet been (re)counted. Now, since the Franken campaign is still trying to get incorrectly rejected absentee ballots included, and the Coleman campaign has been trying to stop that, it would seem to me both campaigns expect Coleman to be ahead after all the existing ballots are counted. Regardless of any of that, it will still definitely be close enough for any legal wrangling either side wishes to try.
I hope it happens for him, and for the state.
I think Franken will make a GREAT senator. And it will shorten Rush Limbaugh's wretched life by at least 5 years.
Go Al!
