I read it yesterday and while I don't agree with your politics, I do enjoy your writing. Maybe I am in the minority, but I kind of liked the color scheme. (though I am not a fan of cognac)

Ya, the switch from your blog SG back to this one left me seeing purple dots for a few minutes
the high contrast layout is not so bad on its own, but since most other sites have the opposite contrast, it's heavy on the eyes once you go to another site with a white background
okkk still seeing purple dots....
Gotta make it No. 3. Dig the blog; can't take the reverse type (white text on black background). It's a no-go for these genetically screwed-up eyes.
