hehe... could that be because of dozens of people trying to stream cnn.com, by any chance? i tried that for a few minutes at like 10 AM and it was so choppy - it would freeze every like 4 seconds and once in a while catch up, even at low quality the bitrate through to my computer seems to have been lower than even highly compressed low qual flash. i bet that website's getting at least 10x its average traffic.

OMG. Speaking as a white person who grew up with soul and hiphop, I hadn't quite realized the cultural differences between the Obama and McCain campaigns... or at least, I've been trying to repress all of my McCain-related memories since November.
