The Beautiful Struggle: A Father, Two Sons, and an Unlikely Road to Manhood
Oh my, he put his hand over his mouth at a board meeting!!! We're doooooomed!
And I love the look on Chavez's face in that still. He's doing the same thing a lot of white guys do when they have to greet a black guy. You sort of say "oh shit... where is this black dude gonna go with this handshake? Are we gonna hug, transition from the handgrab to the traditional shake, or go to the finger grasp with the snap at the end... or some other shit that white people haven't figured out yet!?!" This has caused alot of hand-shake performance anxiety for me over the years. In fact, for the last year or so I've given up on informal pounds and always go in for the traditional handshake. I must be getting older and whiter.
Forget the handshake, nothing strikes fear in my heart like the words "high," "value," and "information" being read from a memo by a CNN reporter.
Would have been better if they had use "Oh Fortuna" Can't miss with that shit.
haha word
as evidenced by how many metal bands have attempted to cover 'o fortuna'. i forget which one i'm thinking of..
Botch is my personal favorite. Gotta love the locals (for me).
I want that still picture of Chavez and Obama hung up on my wall. With my face super-imposed on the dude in the background of course.
Seriously, though, why ARE they shaking hands like this? I'm not about to call it a "Boyz in the Hood" handshake, but I really would like to see the entire encounter play out. I can't watch this at work.
I feel about the same as when Bush was in office, which was the same as I felt before 9/11. God will call me home when He is good and ready. There is nothing that a sitting President can do about that.
Obama will terrorist fist bump you so hard, your grandchildren will recite the Koran in jive talk.
This pile of junk makes a whole lot more sense when you realize that there are a whole crew of Republicans out there worried about jail time.
We were doing EVERYTHING to protect America! We did it because we love America! Obama won't protect you! Who's your daddy? It's bizarre, but torture is the only issue they have any kind of majority on.
Is that all they have? When Obama was still an "inexperienced and naive" candidate with a Muslim name, this tactic didn't work--how then will this work now that the guy is the POTUS--operating from the White House?
The more I see these people, the more I question the kind of college they went to. I am therefore, officially asked that the program called Political science should be immediately discontinue in all universities.
How do they think it is possible to scare us against a sitting President on the issue of protection? I see why they will remain were they are for the next 8years.
By the way, we need to praise Barack for his superb political skill of turning an entire 30 years accredited college textbook into a garbage bag.
Yes, I do feel safer. Thank you so much for asking!
Yeah, no shit. I actually answered out loud at the end of this.
Note to anyone who took this seriously: There's a Depends sale at Walgreens right now...
The crazy thing about this GOPer Slime is how much more serious Obama's national security team is by any measure. Fuck...if I were a conservative (who had a pulse) I'd feel safer with this new guy :

Where is the Terrorist Handshake? The Brother Handshake is so 1970's!
The only solution to our problems financial and otherwise is moving up through the pipeline from Halliburton--the new Dick Cheney tm Underground Bomb Shelters, which are wolf at the door proof. Protect your family and keep everyone else out; promote the construction industry that has fallen on hard times; three bedroom models starting at $500,000. Get valueable tax write offs, never pay a penny of taxes again, and bank bailout money loans to get you started. Don't waste another second; the Sandanistas will soon hit the Rio Grande.
You guys do know that Chavez is also part black?
