The Beautiful Struggle: A Father, Two Sons, and an Unlikely Road to Manhood
Major Garrett's question: "You said you were appalled and outraged by the violence in Iran. What took you so long?" Obama smacked him down properly.
Not so happy about his health care answers, though.
Major Garrett should change his last name to Asshole. "What took you so long?" Jesus ... Fox "journalism" at its best, folks.
And that obnoxious pause beforehand! Like he's thinking "Gotcha now, Hussein." It was an honor and a privilege watching them all get bitch-slapped for their unserious, unthoughtful foolishness.
He is killing them. You didn't like how he handled the public option part?
On fire! "What do you think?" McCain/Graham are just dirt on the shoulder ...
Haha! Dirt on the Shoulder!! The describes it almost perfectly.
jokes aside he is the jedi master slaying them like that fly, these folks with their soundbyte questions can't touch him, ie "what do you think" in response to that dumba$$ question about was he influenced by john mc....the healthcare is worrying no real public option but he is as advertised
I'm happier with his tossing the ball back to insurance companies: "If the insurance companies are in the business of keeping people well and that's their priority, they shouldn't have a problem with a public option as competition." He really is on fire today.
The soldiers in the previous post are good company for watching the President deal with the fools.
He kicks ass and shoots that ridiculously irresistible smile at the same time. I love how he dominates the room and answers all those cable doh-dohs with intelligence and charm. I know he is not perfect, but I am so glad he is president right now.
Thanks for posting this, TNC. I'm at work and made the mistake of beginning to watch this on CNBC only to have those fools cut away during the moment he bitch-slapped Chuck Todd to talk about a bond auction gone bad. Will never make that mistake again.
salam...
I can't for the life of me buy the neo-con notion of giving democracy through brute strength...i praise obama at the moment, because he's threading the needle. I live in exile, i have the luxury of waking up and knowing that i can watch the Potus, without disturbances or lies. I have also alot of other luxuries, my fellow iranians don't. I do however think that it's ultimately up to them to decide for themselfs, when, how and where to overthrow this oppressive regime. I can't decide that for them. And here's were Obama is so helpful, because he makes it perfectly, clear, who it's all about, and why it's about them! Peggy Noonan, was on point, john mccain is a pompous, posturing politician. and should be treated as such. he doesn't have anymore love for me or mine than anybody else out there. Nico did a great job as well, he's been on fire all the way!
va salaam!
