I'm off for holiday travel early tomorrow morning. But I wanted to thank all of you for reading--and writing back this week--it's been a privilege to stop by and spend some time in this wonderful community you all have going here.
Commenter Guster pointed out in an earlier thread that I'd been remiss in my duties by not doing any comics-related blogging, and he's right. Starting next week, though, I'll be posting a couple of times a week as I read my way through the three volumes of The Complete Little Orphan Annie that have been released so far by the Library of American Comics series at IDW. And I just read your blog (somehow I missed the Harry Potter post here; I adored a few of the earlier comments, which are some of the best I've seen about the series), and was gonna post, but can't because you don't allow anonymous or 'Open ID' commenters, and I don't have a Google ID or whatever I needed. Just thought I'd mention that. (I used to read and comment on TNC's previous blog a great deal more than I comment here, because of the annoyance of signing in. Hm. Although given the quality of my comments, take that as you will ...)
